Student Loan Forgiveness Information

Employees of Lincoln Public Schools may be eligible for loan forgiveness depending on what location they are at, what content they teach, and what type of loans they have. Loan forgiveness programs are available through both state and federal programs. Links provided below will help provide guidance to which loan forgiveness program best suits your qualifications. Questions about eligibility should be directed to your loan provider.

Once loan forms are completed, please submit all forms to hrloanforgive@lps.org. Please allow 2 weeks for processing. Verified and signed forms will be returned to the employee. LPS does not forward forms to the loan servicer (example: Mohela).

All employees should be responsible for maintaining all personal loan records.
