Nutrition Services Business Office Staff

.	Edith Zumwalt Director of Nutrition Services 402-436-1742 Oversee school lunch, breakfast, after school snacks, fresh fruit and vegetable snacks, supper meal, catering and summer feeding programs. Responsible for menus, department budget, food, non- food, large and small equipment purchases, staffing and training.
	Mary French Assistant Director 402-436-1766 Responsible for department staffing: applicant interviews, selection process, orientation, and placement. Determine staffing needs for each site, oversee the Manager Trainee program, monitor long term absences, assist with training and staff development, and supervise select schools.
	Bobbi Ackerson Office Manager 402-436-1747 Provides office support and coordinates office projects. Prepares & maintains National School Lunch and Child and Adult Care Feeding Program applications and submits monthly claims. Prepares invoices and reconciles accounts; SubFinder and personnel action requests; maintains various department databases.
	Dianne Heidtbrink Purchaser 402-436-1740 Order food, materials, equipment and services. Prepare and analyze bid specifications. Work with allocation of federally funded USDA commodities. Assist with distribution of all food and non-food items from vendors to individual school kitchens or warehouse.
	Amanda Bigley Payroll Secretary II 402-436-1741 Payroll. Processes requests for equipment repair. Types and distributes menus. Orders and distributes department forms and small equipment. Backup support for Dairy and Bakery Ordering, Bakery and Dairy ordering for Summer Feeding Program.
	Jackie Kennedy Secretary II 402-436-1746 Responsible for processing free/reduced meal applications. Maintains dairy and bakery orders. General Office support.
	Lynn Goering Dietitian 402-436-1745 Coordinates specials diets for students and develops special diet menus and options for students with medically necessary diets. Partners with schools to secure funds for wellness and coordinates grant related activities. Facilitates nutrition and wellness education programs.
	Dondi Kilgore Supervisor 402-436-1765 Supervises nutritional program. Assists select schools with training and production. Assists with The BackPack Program and the lunch program for VOICE students.
	Andrew Ashelford Supervisor 402-436-1748 Supervises nutritional program. Assists select schools with training and production. Coordinates small equipment, paper products, and assists with the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program.

	Jodie Lewis Technology Support Specialist 402-436-1743 Maintains LPS Nutrition Services Department’s district-wide system database software. Provides technical support to all LPS cafeteria computer users, including on-site technology support.
	Shellie Haun Technology Support 402-436-1743 Maintenance and training of Point of Sale cash register systems in school cafeterias. Parent, account and online meal payment support. Nutrition Services website administrator.
