Find your neighborhood school by using the district’s Home School Lookup and enroll online using the link above. Some important information to have on hand: your child’s proof of age and identity (see information below) and immunization records. You will have the opportunity to upload these documents during the enrollment process.
NOTE: Online Registration only pertains to students enrolling full-time at LPS. If your student will only be attending LPS part-time please fill out the following form and submit it to your home school: Application of Non-Public School Student for Part-Time Enrollment
Are you registering for Kindergarten?

Interested in applying for Preschool?
Children who are at least 3 years of age on or before July 31, 2023 and who have not yet turned five as of July 31, 2023, are eligible to apply. Learn more Preschool and apply.
Re-Enrollment
If your child previously attended a school in Lincoln Public Schools, please contact your home school.
Proof of Age and Identity
Policy 5113 – Upon admission to the Lincoln Public Schools the parents/legal guardian of any child preschool to grade 12, shall furnish (a) a certified copy of the student’s birth certificate issued by the state in which the child was born, or (b) other reliable proof of the child’s identify and age, (i.e. naturalization or immigration documents showing date of birth or official hospital birth records) accompanied by an affidavit explaining the inability to produce a copy of the birth certificate. An affidavit is defined as a notarized statement by an individual who can verify the reason a copy of the birth certificate cannot be produced.
If the parents/legal guardian fails to provide this information, they will receive in writing a statement explaining the need for them to provide this information within thirty days.
Open Enrollment Transfer
Are you interested in attending a school or program other than your attendance area school? Apply for a district transfer by downloading, completing and returning the correct form. Open enrollment is subject to space and availability.
Returning Student?
If your child currently attends Lincoln Public Schools, watch for more information sent each summer. Online registration is accessed through ParentVUE, the district’s Parent Portal. If you don’t yet have a ParentVUE account, please call your child’s school office for an activation key to claim your account.
