School Lunch Hero Day Taken to Whole New Level

Cafeteria Manager Becky Coatney created this awesome 30 ft banner of her staff Super Heroes. Each staff member is a Super Hero with their own super powers and foes.

Meet our Rousseau Rangers:

Aproned Avenger

Foes: Phat Phantom & Bleached Bandit

The Aproned Avenger fighters her foe the Phat Phantom by cooking foods that are lower in fat and through cooking methods that do not require deep fat frying. She keeps the Bleached Bandit at bay by providing foods that are whole grain rich and full of fiber!

Superpowers: She is dependable and organized. Her great attitude and super smile help keep the villains away!

The Sanitizer

Foes: Shigella & Norovirus

The Sanitizer fights her foes Shigella and Norovirus through proper sanitation practices.

Superpowers: High attention to details. Proper use of cooling and production logs and master level cleaning skills which ensure these guys don’t have a chance to take over the neighborhood.

Salad Spinner

Foes: Crunchy Creeper & Sodium Slinger

The Salad Spinner fights the Crunchy Creeper by offering fresh vebetables. She hits the Sodium Slinger where it hurts by using other flavoring options to season foods as well as low sodium canned vegetables.

Superpowers: Speed, and ability to jump in to help her fellow Rangers win the fight.

The Wedger

Foes: “The Cube” & Sneaky Sweety

The Wedger fights her foes “The Cube” and Sneaky Sweety by offering fruits with natural sugar.

Superpowers: Organization, multi-tasking, food ordering, and overseeing the operations of Nutrition League of Lincoln. She may often be found in the storeroom of solitude.
