Our mission is to advocate and empower multi-cultural students and families through education and to build a bridge of communication between Lincoln Public Schools and the community.

The entrance to the English Learners Welcome Center is located on the north side of the Meadow Lane Shopping Center. The address is 936 N 70th Street; Lincoln, Nebraska 68505. Entrance is off of 70th and X St.

- K-12 registration for students whose answer to any of the 3 following
questions is a language other than English:
- What language did the student first learn to speak?
- What language is spoken most often by the student?
- What language is primarily used in the student’s home regardless
of the language spoken by the student?
- English Learners Assessment and sharing of information for enrollment purposes
- English Learners Preschool application information and registration
- Bilingual Liaisons interpretation services, roles and contact information
- Services available for English Learners students (Special Education and Gifted Programs)
- Community Resource Guides
- Welcoming processes at school buildings
