Preschool Healthy Breakfast Challenge

Preschool students at Belmont, Arnold and Everett Elementary participated in a Healthy Breakfast Challenge. Their goal was to eat breakfast each day, and write down what they had. At the end of the challenge, all of the students that completed it received a gift bag that included an apron, measuring cup, and recipe cards.

“Thank you for the bags with the measuring cups and apron. The children loved them and were excited when they received them. The recipes were awesome too.

I just want to let you know that I just did a home visit and the son, as soon as he got home yesterday, put the apron on and cooked a boiled egg and then helped his mom cook dinner. He showed me his apron today and wanted to cook, and I gave him one of the recipe cards that you sent and he was so excited. Last night a family sent me a video of their child with the apron on making cupcakes with her mom. It was darling, so THANK YOU to the amazing aprons that the children have and the recipe cards.”

“Thank you SO much for the gift bags for the healthy breakfast challenge. Here are my students—they really loved what was inside. I went on a home visit today–the family is planning on making the recipe idea that was enclosed. Thanks again.”
