LPS Earth Day Resources
The international celebration of Earth Day is coming up on Thursday, April 22nd! This day helps us recognize the importance of environmental protection and appreciate all of the wonderful experiences and resources provided by nature.
We have organized a list of actions and resources into LPS Earth Day activity cards broken down by age groups for our students and staff to use to celebrate at school. Activities are organized into sustainability-themed topics, so you can choose one activity (or more) from each topic. Earth Day categories include energy, consumption and waste, climate action, water, and the great outdoors.
And of course, don’t forget to submit your Earth Day activities to the Green Schools Recognition Program.
