Earth Month 2026 Recap
LPS pulled out all the stops (and all the weeds) for Earth Month 2026, and it may have been our most impactful celebration yet!
From tree plantings and solar panel tune-ups to litter cleanups and hands-on classroom activities, students at every grade level rolled up their sleeves and got to work.
None of it would have been possible without the incredible dedication of staff, families, and community neighbors who showed up alongside our students. Take a look at some of the highlights from this year’s Earth Month festivities below!

Every student, staff member, and family who took part in an activity this April contributed to something truly special here at LPS, and that is worth celebrating! The passion and dedication poured into this month’s events made each and every one possible, and we couldn’t be more grateful for this amazing community at LPS.
