Open-Closed Status of LPS Schools, Grade Levels, and Programs prior to October 15 (LB414/705)

If a school, grade level, or program is open, it means it is open to transfer within the school district or to option students from outside LPS. Elementary and Middle level schools are open or closed by grade level. High schools and programs are either entirely open or entirely closed. Grade levels or buildings which are closed are unavailable to option students due to lack of capacity and/or available staff. Capacity for Option-in students is listed in the table. Capacity for special education services shall be determined on a case-by-case basis by the Director of Special Education or designee. Enrollment constantly changes and open-closed status and option-in capacity may change at any time.
