Q: When should I begin tenure requirement courses?
A: As soon as possible.

Q: How frequently are tenure requirement courses offered?
A: Tenure requirement courses are offered yearly – one class per year. There are limited or no summer offerings depending on your assignment. It is important to register for the correct class year each year. Visit the course catalog on the Professional Development website to register or seek details.

Q: Is it possible to earn salary advancement credit through completion of tenure requirement courses?
A: LPS salary advancement credit may be earned through the tenure requirement courses. Successful completion of the required tenure courses and payment of tuition for each credit hour will result in credit toward salary advancement.
