The Department of Continuous Improvement and Professional Learning offers quality learning for all employees of the Lincoln Public Schools.  It is important that all employees have the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge that will allow them to be effective in their position.

One of the goals of the Lincoln Public Schools is to raise the achievement of all students.  Teacher quality and continued improvement in instruction is one of the greatest factors contributing to student achievement.  Quality professional development can increase the knowledge of academic content and teaching skills to enhance interaction with students and their learning.

The Continuous Improvement and Professional Learning office coordinates the work of the many LPS departments who contribute to the continual learning of certificated and classified staff.  This Continuous Improvement and Professional Learning website provides information about current offerings for workshops and courses.  Guidelines, salary advancement procedures, and contractual professional development information are also contained on this website.
