MAP Growth

Background

Rule 10 requires that all Nebraska school districts give a norm-referenced standardized achievement test at least once in elementary, middle, and high school. In 2017-18, LPS chose the Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) tests to meet this requirement. The publishing company, NWEA, provides MAP Growth testing free of charge. The MAP Growth online portal will be similar to the state testing portal. Students participate in MAP Growth testing in grades 3-5, and 6-8.
