Our History

Educare Lincoln opened in February of 2013 and currently serves 158 students from birth to age five. Educare Lincoln is a member of the Educare Learning Network, a national network of high quality early childhood programs serving children throughout the nation. The school advances the Educare model of supporting early learning through high quality early childhood education and strong family support services to ensure that children are prepared to succeed throughout their lifetimes.

Educare Lincoln, along with other Educare Schools, represents a strategic, results driven approach to narrowing the opportunity gap that separates children of low-income families and their more advantaged peers before they enter the K-12 educational system. Partnerships with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Buffett Early Childhood Fund, Lincoln Public Schools  and several community agencies empower the children, families and staff at Educare Lincoln.

Located at 3435 North 14th Street, Educare Lincoln is adjacent to Belmont Elementary School. Other Educare sites in Nebraska are located at Indian Hill and Kellom Schools in Omaha, and Educare Winnebago, the first Educare to built on tribal land.
