Educare’s Local Evaluation Partner

The Department of Child, Youth, and Family Studies serves as the Local Evaluation Partner (LEP) for Educare Lincoln, playing a vital role in advancing the Educare model. By conducting comprehensive evaluations, the LEP team gathers essential data on child development, family engagement, and classroom practices.

This data-driven approach ensures that Educare Lincoln provides high-quality early childhood education and robust family support services. The LEP’s work is critical in measuring outcomes, informing program improvements, and ultimately ensuring that children are well-prepared to succeed throughout their lives.

Key Data Points:

  • Educare Lincoln continued to be one of the most culturally and linguistically diverse programs in the Educare Learning Neywork with 45% of the families we served speaking a language other than English at home.
  • Educare Lincoln continued to help families in raising their children by providing social support, facilitating childcare and school arrangements, and connecting families to community resources.
  • Educare Lincoln continued to provide quality care and learning opportunities as children showed positive growth in social emotional development and language skills.
