Your results are available to you all day, just as they have been during the testing period. You can use this to monitor that things are working and to see how things are going. You can also use these to announce your own building’s results at the end of the day. Please do not share these results with others during the day as to not create a situation where people are voting for one person or another because “they need votes”.

For those that were inquiring about Student Vote being in the LPS Portal, it is there and up to date now. Clicks on the Student Vote app will take students directly to the ballot. After student vote closes, clicks will take people to the results.
It’s Student Vote Week!! Have you tested it? Comfortable with how it works? Questions?

With the ballot being in the portal can’t students vote multiple times or are we not concerned about this?

Thank you for this question, Ron.
FOR LPS STUDENTS: Repeated votes REPLACE previous votes with the new vote. They can not cast more than one vote in the end. They can only change it.
FOR NON-LPS STUDENTS: If you are using a school code (Lincoln Christian, Raymond Central), there is no student-id based limit, so students could vote repeatedly. The password should be kept secret and the stations monitored. In a way, this is the most poll-like voting option anyway.

Thank you to those that continue to catch things and alert me to them
1) It was noticed that Lt. Governor was misspelled as Govenor. This has been corrected.
2) I was also told that the keyword “svresults” was not working. This has also been fixed.
3) For those of you at LPS, the student vote icon in the portal is being updated. It will soon link to the new student vote address, but students should still not use this until the day of the vote (except for testing)
Thank you!

Thank you to those that have already started testing the ballot and results. I noticed this morning, after the numbers weren’t looking how I expected, that the second issue regarding the minimum wage, was not showing for elementary schools. This has been corrected. Everybody at all levels are voting for the same things and should see all options now.

Welp. I didn’t even make it a day without something that needed fixed 🙂
You may have noticed that the SVBALLOT and SVRESULTS links did not work. They were linked to the 2020 ballot and results. This has been corrected. Thank you to those that brought this to my attention.

The student vote directions/letter has been sent out! Sorry for the delay on that, but you should be able to get into the ballot and results now.

Ron
What is the ballot address? The link on the left goes to results.
-
Brian Fitzgerald
The link has been corrected. It was going to the 2020 ballot (which after the ballot closes, autodirects to the results). It is now all going to 2022. Thanks for sharing this!
