October 1: FAFSA opens
October 6: EHS College Fair @ East (9-11AM)
October 20 & 21: Apply2College Days
October 31: Senior Pictures DUE to Yearbook Sponsor – Ms. Staswick
February 1: Last day to order your cap and gown before late fee is added to your order.
May 17: Last day to order your cap and gown
May 27: GRADUATION DAY – 8:30AM at Pinnacle Bank Arena
Timeline
Fall 2022
- Meet with your counselor to discuss post-secondary plans
- If you haven’t already – create and use a professional email address for applications
- Follow EHS Counseling Instagram for deadlines & updates @lincolneastcounseling
- Sign up for college rep visits (2023 Google Classroom → College/Military Visits)
- Attend the EHS College Fair on October 6, 2022 (9-11AM)
- Take the ACT/SAT (act.org) (https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat/register)
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) – opens October 1 (https://studentaid.gov)
- APPLY to college/s
- Apply2College Days @ East High are October 20 and 21
- Review Graduation Status in StudentVue → Course History
- Meet with counselor, teachers, coaches, etc. for application and recommendation letter requests
- Apply for Scholarships
- Seniors should make a ScholarshipQuest profile to begin the search process. https://www.educationquest.org/resources/scholarshipquest/

- If you are planning on playing college sports – create a profile on the NCAA/NAIA portal and talk with your coach and counselor

Spring 2023
- February 1 is the last day to order your cap and gown without added late fee
- Finalize your college selection and check your college portal for upcoming deadlines
- Check your Class of 2023 Google Classroom regularly
- Continue to apply for scholarships
- Seniors should request FINAL transcript at the end of the school year – lps.org → jump code YEBE
