Youth Leadership Lincoln is Accepting Applications!

LLLYouth Leadership Lincoln is now accepting applications from current ninth grade students for the 2016-17 program. Youth Leadership Lincoln is for high school sophomores who want to strengthen their leadership skills through workshops, community involvement and interaction with community leaders. It is designed to build a network of informed youth who will then engage to improve our community.

Why should I do this?
Youth Leadership Lincoln helps prepare students to be effective leaders in their community and in the workplace.

Where do I pick up an application form?
Ninth grade students in Lincoln/Lancaster County can pick up an application in the East High Counseling Center, download an application at www.leadershiplincoln.org or call Youth Leadership Lincoln at 402-441-4661 to have an application mailed to you.

How can I learn more?
Applicants interested in Youth Leadership Lincoln may attend an informational session to learn more about the program and application process (attendance is not required to submit an application). There are two opportunities to attend:

  1. Tuesday, May 3rd, 2016 from 6:00-7:00 PM
    Gere Branch Library Meeting Room (2400 S. 56th St.)
  2. Wednesday, May 4th, 2016 from 6:00-7:00 PM
    Eiseley Branch Library Meeting Room (1530 Superior St.)

What is the Deadline?
The application deadline is Friday, May 13th, 2016 by 5:00 PM. Late applications will not be accepted.
