Summer school will be held May 28-July 9 at North Star High School (no school July 3). Period one starts at 8:00 am and concludes at 9:50 am. Period two begins at 10:00 am and concludes at 11:50 am. Attendance is very closely monitored and students will be dropped from class when they have been absent five times (three times for a quarter class) – regardless of the reason. Please consult the LPS website for detailed information about tuition, class offerings, attendance, and summer school policies.
East High students may make an appointment to register for classes with Ms. Dress in the Counseling Center according to the following schedule:
April 20-24: Seniors only
April 27-May 1: Seniors and juniors only
May 4-15: All LPS students
NO registrations will be accepted after May 15 at East.
May 26: Late registration—must register at North Star | 1:00-3:00 pm
May 27: Late registration—must register at North Star | 1:00-3:00 pm
May 28: Late registration—must register at North Star | 1:00-3:00 pm
Payment for summer school must be made at the time of registration and parent/guardian signatures are required for all registrations.
