“Discovering Food Science: How the Cookie Crumbles”
June 1-3, 2022
High school students (grades 9-12) will have the opportunity to learn about food science while experiencing authentic, hands-on learning activities. Students will follow the production and processing chains for baked goods throughout the continuum from field to table to learn how science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) are intertwined to transform raw agricultural commodities into food products that are consumed daily.
Cost is $150, and scholarships are available. Housing on UNL campus and all meals are included. Learn more or apply to camp.
