As we begin a new semester on January 5th, below is the guideline for schedule changes. Students need to keep in mind many changes such as lunch and teacher requests, and course selections needed to be done at the end of 1st semester.
Check your 2nd semester schedule carefully on Synergy. If you need to make a schedule change, follow the procedures below.
JANUARY 5th: WALK-INS for ERRORS ONLY
Only students with these issues can WALK-IN for schedule change needs:
-A SEE COUNSELOR on your schedule
-MISSING a class period or LUNCH
-ALREADY taken and passed a class
-FAILED a class
-HAS NOT MET the pre-requisite for a class
-Wrong COURSE LEVEL
-Missing S2 of a YEAR-LONG course
JANUARY 6th and 7th: By APPOINTMENT ONLY
Students can make an appointment to try to make a schedule change but changes are NOT guaranteed as courses are very full! Counselor appointment slots will open up in your Graduation Google Classroom on January 4th.
JANUARY 7th is the LAST DAY for schedule change requests. After January 7th all schedule changes will require parent and admin approval using the formal drop request form.
Please do not email your counselor to make a schedule change. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!
