East will be hosting the PSAT on Saturday, October 14th. The cost of the test is $25 and all fees need to be paid to Mrs. Hansel in the main office by Thursday, September 21st. The registration is for Juniors and Sophomores only.
Juniors: You must take the PSAT as a junior in order to be considered for the National Merit Scholarship. You will have a spot guaranteed until Thursday, September 21st when you pay in the main office. This test will also help prep you for the SAT and ACT.
Sophomores: You may take the test as a practice, but your results will not be considered for the National Merit Scholarship. If you choose to take the PSAT this year, it would be practice for next year as well as the ACT and SAT.
