K-State Engineering Day

K-State Engineering Day is open to interested freshman, sophomore and junior students in high school and will be held on Friday, March 31 from 1-3:00 PM.

Engineering Day will benefit students who have not yet visited K-State or who want to learn more about engineering. In addition to giving these guests an in-depth look at the College of Engineering, we will be discussing career opportunities and the latest challenges in the field of engineering—energy, environmental protection, computing, information technology, robotics, construction, biotechnology, manufacturing, water, biomedical, etc.

Goals for the event are as follows:

  • Explore engineering career options
  • Interact with professionals in industry
  • Learn about the various ways to get involved as an engineering student
  • Provide opportunities to tour facilities and interact with faculty and students
