Bright Lights Summer Enrichment Program is looking for summer classroom assistant volunteers to help students K-9th grades for the 2015 Bright Lights summer program. Bright Lights classes help youth discover and pursue their passion in science, the arts, math, technology, and music. Assistants are needed between post 8th grade through college, including interested adults. We are looking for people who have a passion for a subject and love working with young people. The International program with Japanese middle school students is held at Lux Middle School during one week. GOPO and community service hours can be earned. Volunteers will log 20 hours, working either mornings or afternoons, or both.
