MDT – Multidisciplinary Team
MDT (Multidisciplinary Team) meetings are usually part of a process that emphasizes how well students respond to changes in their instructional environment.
An MDT team is comprised of a variety of professionals depending on the situation. They can include a school psychologist, school social worker, administrator, special education teacher, PBiS coach, teacher(s), or any other staff with direct knowledge of the student. They perform assessments, analyze/interpret results, and develop a cohesive action plan if the data deems it necessary.
