September 29th through October 3rd is the 4th Annual College Week at Northwest! Once again, the highlight of College Week will be the NACRAO College Fair held on Thursday, October 2nd. The college fair will take place from 1:30-3:00 pm in the main gym. Representatives from over 50 colleges and post-secondary institutions will be present to share information about their programs. Students in all grades may attend, but must complete the registration form by 3:00 pm on Monday, September 29th. Details have been posted for students in their grade level Google Classroom.

The fall deadlines to register for the AP exam and/or dual credit with Wesleyan Honors Academy are quickly approaching (there will be a separate registration window for students who have dual credit classes in the spring). If your student is currently enrolled in an AP class and wishes to participate in the AP exam next spring, please review the AP Exam Registration Information and Testing Policies document that was shared in August for details. Registration confirmation emails will be sent in early October. Students who are planning to dual enroll with Wesleyan Honors Academy must complete their registration with the college by Friday, October 3rd. Tuition assistance is available. Please contact Brooke Sharpe (bsharpe@lps.org) if you have any questions about either of these opportunities for your student. Or, if you’re interested in learning more about dual credit, please fill out the Dual Credit Information Request form and we will contact you with more information.
