This is the page where students and families can find information about how to get a Music Letter at LHS.
Notice that all letters at LHS are “Music Letters.”
Vocal and Instrumental music students will be eligible for a Music letter at the end of their junior year and must participate in a music class for 6 semesters with only one music class counting toward their letter per semester. To receive a Music letter a student will need to complete further criteria each semester. Examples of acceptable criteria can be found by clicking on the “LHS Music Letter Tracking Form” below. The “LHS Music Tracking Form” can be used by students and families to mark what materials a student has completed to obtain a letter. The LHS Music Department keeps a hard copy of each students progress for our records. If students wish to get a letter students must fill out the “LHS Music Extra Criteria Google Form” 2 times per year (once per semester). This is due in May and late entries are not accepted.
