The Lincoln Public School District offers this testimony as a proponent of LB 303.

LB 303 proposes positive steps forward through:

  • increasing the state commitment to funding PK-12 through existing structures within the TEEOSA formula
  • adjusting the components of the formula in an incremental manner
  • representing input from schools
  • seeking to address very low levies and therefore the variation in levies across the state
  • committing to continuously studying state funding for PK-12 education with a focus on stability.

The Lincoln Public School District is dedicated to partnering in any conversations related LB 303.

Sincerely,

Liz Standish
Associate Superintendent for Business Affairs
Lincoln Public Schools
