J.J. Toczek: Nebraska State Activities Association Distinguished Service Award and Nebraska State Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Meritorious Service to Education-Based Athletics in Nebraska Award

That the Lincoln Board of Education adopt the following resolution:

WHEREAS, J.J. Toczek serves as Lincoln Public Schools Director of Athletics and Activities, and was recently honored by two state organizations for his service and commitment to the growth of student-athletes; and

WHEREAS, J.J. Toczek continuously and successfully facilitates extended learning opportunities through comprehensive athletic and activities programming at Lincoln Public Schools; and

WHEREAS, J.J. Toczek cultivates experiences that aid in the overall growth of student-participants by promoting academic achievement, skill development, life skills, citizenship and competitive success; and

WHEREAS, J.J. Toczek devotes his time and efforts in implementing leadership programs for administrators, coaches and students in Lincoln and across the state; and

WHEREAS, J.J. Toczek inspires others into the profession through his leadership and tireless advocacy; and

WHEREAS, J.J. Toczek is widely respected among his colleagues, both within Lincoln Public Schools and across the state;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Lincoln Board of Education does hereby congratulate J.J. Toczek for being honored with the Nebraska State Activities Association Distinguished Service Award and the Nebraska State Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Meritorious Service to Education-Based Athletics in Nebraska Award.
