Adams Elementary School honored as a 2022 National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education

The U.S. Department of Education has named Adams Elementary School as a 2022 National Blue Ribbon School. Adams learned about the honor last fall after going through a rigorous application and review process. The Blue Ribbon program recognizes public and private elementary, middle and high schools. Honored schools are chosen based on their overall academic performance and their progress in closing achievement gaps. Adams was one of 297 schools selected in the nation. Adams became the ninth school within Lincoln Public Schools to earn the award since it began in 1982.

Adams Elementary School Principal Jeff Rust said about this honor:

“I am so proud of our staff, students and families. Our teachers teach with passion, our staff are dedicated to supporting each child, our students learn with confidence and push themselves each day, and our families are there with us every step of the way.”
