Fall Workshop Information
ACT Fall Sessions
Each session is held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in person at Lincoln High.
- General Test Preparation & Strategies (1)
- English, Math, & Science Strategies & Practice (2 each)
- Reading Strategies & Practice (1)
Classes are taught by content area teachers current in ACT changes and procedures.
Practice book and all content included: 1 practice test during class, remaining tests on your own.
These sessions are for incoming Juniors and Seniors only.
ACT Session 1
Each session is held from 6:30—8:30 p.m. in person at Lincoln High.

- $200 fee
- Timed for October 26th National Exam

ACT Session 2
Each session is held from 6:30—8:30 p.m. in person at Lincoln High.

- $200 fee
- Timed for December 14th National Exam
- Registration deadline is Monday, October 14th 2024
- Payment due Wednesday, October 16th, 2024 to avoid the late fee
ACT Session 3
Each session is held from 6:30—8:30 p.m. in person at Lincoln High.

- No Class Monday, March 10th

- $200 fee
- Timed for the April 5th national exam and the April 8th LPS Junior exam
- Registration deadline is Monday, January 17th 2025
- Payment due Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 to avoid the late fee
Workshop cost
Full prices listed above. If a student qualifies for free or reduced lunch, tuition is reduced (contact your school counselor or Michelle Fonck at mfonck@lps.org for tuition information). A current year qualification letter needs to be on file with the district to receive price reduction.
Workshop refund policy
Cancellation requests must be received before the first class date. A $20.00 handling fee will apply.
Late registration fee
$20 (applies to students not registered by the deadline)
Late fee for unpaid registrations
The late fee also applies to registrants who have not paid the tuition by the “pay by” date. Your student does NOT have a reserved spot until payment is received. If a workshop is full, unpaid registrants may lose their spot in the workshop to paid registrants on the waiting list.
Registering for an LPS workshop DOES NOT register your student for the national test. You MUST also register separately for the national test! Get a registration booklet from your school’s counseling office or register online at www.act.org.
