Kooser Elementary School
Kooser Elementary School gathers for Veterans Day Assembly
Veterans lined the walls, all of them in some way or another connected to a student or staff member at Kooser.
Fifth-graders led the program, introducing each part, including the Pledge of Allegiance, National Anthem, singing of “America the Beautiful”, and the honoring of veterans during the “United States Armed Forces Medley”.
A poem was also recited, along with some fifth-graders reading their letters of appreciation to veterans.
The program concluded with all of the veterans taking a walk through the halls of Kooser, greeted by waving flags, high-fives and cheers.
