What's my role?

Teacher's Role

  • Throughout the day, provide specific positive feedback
  • Provide points (2, 1, 0) on the Daily Progress report (electronic or paper)
  • Teachers initiate feedback and scoring
  • Focus on the feedback rather than emphasizing the score

Self Reflection

  • Do I understand when students are receiving CICO with individualized features?
  • Am I able to give input to the Tier 2 team when a student layers up to CICO with individualized features?
  • When a student is on CICO with individualized features, I implement it the way it was planned?

Data Collection

Daily Progres Report (DPR)

  • Used for data collection to determine if CICO with individualized features is working or not

  • A tool that reminds adults to give feedback

  • Add individualized features to the DPR (when appropriate)

    • Options for individualized features: Added breaks, specific skills, visuals, etc.

  • Standard scoring continues
