Ali’s Beats

Ali’s Beats is the story about an aspiring DJ artist who refuses to let his blindness become a barrier to his dreams and a teacher who helped make it possible. When the Bay High found out Ali wanted to learn more about DJ music they teamed him up with local artist, DJ Cayleen, to be mentored at school. Cayleen quickly learned that traditional teaching methods would fall short in reaching Ali and had to come up with a new ways to think about music and understand the world. The story of Cayleen and Ali serves as a reminder to us all, that everyone has a unique part to play in our community, no matter who you are, and that the most beautiful notes are the ones we feel, rather than see.
