{"id":587,"date":"2019-08-26T14:33:43","date_gmt":"2019-08-26T14:33:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/home.lps.org\/schoolibrary\/?p=587"},"modified":"2019-08-26T14:33:43","modified_gmt":"2019-08-26T14:33:43","slug":"how-to-put-a-book-on-hold","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/home.lps.org\/schoolibrary\/2019\/08\/26\/how-to-put-a-book-on-hold\/","title":{"rendered":"How to put a book on hold"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If the book you want checked out and not on the shelf, you can put it on hold for you!<\/p>\n<p>When you are in line checking out tell us &#8220;Can you also put me on hold for (title of the book)?&#8221;\u00a0 \u00a0We will enter it into the system and when it comes in, we will send a note to your English\/Lang Arts teacher so you know to come get it!\u00a0 We will hold it approximately 3 school days before we move to the next person in line.<\/p>\n<p>Ebooks and audiobooks: If one of these are checked out, you will see a button to &#8220;Place a hold&#8221;.\u00a0 Unfortunately, I do not get notified when that book is ready for you.\u00a0 YOU are the only one who gets notified- the system will send you an email in to your Gmail account.\u00a0 Be sure to check that account regularly.\u00a0 Gmail can be found on <a href=\"https:\/\/students.lps.org\/_authn\/Logon?ru=L3Nzby9wb3J0YWw=\">the portal<\/a>!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If the book you want checked out and not on the shelf, you can put it on hold for you!
