First Friends do this in a variety of different ways such as being inclusive, welcoming new students, promoting peaceful problem solving, making connections with students who may not be adjusting to the demands of adolescence, and by communicating with trusted adults when they observe peers struggling to make good choices. Being a part of the First Friend Program is a privilege, honor and responsibility.
