The Purchasing Department is constantly looking for ways to innovate procurement techniques and promote fair, ethical and legal trade practices. The Purchasing Department grants all vendors equal consideration and respect, offering competitive opportunities to small businesses, disadvantaged businesses, woman-owned businesses and minority owned businesses<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-879794a elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"879794a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Purchasing Personnel<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-69a8dd6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"69a8dd6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"font-size: 18px;\" align=\"left\">Purchasing consists of two related entities: the Purchasing Office and the Distribution Center.<\/p><ul style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><li>The Purchasing Office, at 5905 O Street, has staff which include buyers and clerical personnel.<\/li><li>The Distribution Center, at 505 South Street.
