Everett at various times was a congressman, senator, governor of Massachusetts, envoy to England, president of Harvard, and an unsuccessful candidate for president of the United States.<\/p>\n<p>Everett (the school) was an elementary school until the new building was opened in 1928 as Lincoln&#8217;s third junior high. In the 1991-92 school year Everett was extensively remodeled and converted to elementary use. During this year Everett&#8217;s students were housed at nearby Park<br \/>\nSchool. This was the second time Everett students were moved to Park.
