Click on the link on the left side of the page titled \u201cBuy Student Meals\u201d. On your first visit, you&#8217;ll need to create a new account by clicking on Sign up today!.<\/p>\n<p>Once you have completed the set-up steps, you are taken to the page that displays your students and their current balances. You can continue on to make a payment if you wish, by selecting Add One-Time Funds or Set Up Autopay, or check each child\u2019s account details by clicking on their name to view cafeteria purchases.<\/p>\n<p>You can check your student\u2019s balance without making a prepayment. If you do submit a payment, a fee of $1.95 is assessed each time you submit your credit\/debit card number or electronic check. There is only one fee charged if you place funds into more than one student\u2019s account in the same family at the same time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What if there\u2019s a problem submitting an Internet prepayment?<\/strong><br \/>\nWe hope that submitting a prepayment online will be a positive experience; however, if you need assistance with setting up your account, website features, or processing a payment please contact MySchoolBucks directly at 855-832-5226. MySchoolBucks is dedicated to customer support and will help you a timely manner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How can I check my student(s) account balance?<\/strong><br \/>\nYou can log in to the \u201cBuy Student Meals\u201d section of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lps.org\/\">www.lps.org<\/a> to check your student\u2019s balance. You are also welcome to call your student\u2019s school Cafeteria Manager. Many elementary schools send home notices if a student\u2019s account is low or if a student has a negative balance and is borrowing. You may also have the online web payment system send you e-mail notifications.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do I do if I think my child is using their money too quickly?<\/strong><br \/>\nYou may call the Cafeteria Manager of your student\u2019s school and they can look to see what your student\u2019s account activity has been. You may also request an Account History printout for your student by calling the school Cafeteria Manager. Cafeteria purchases are available online as well if you set-up a MySchoolBucks payment account.<\/p>\n<p>Restrictions can be put in place by contacting the Cafeteria Manager at your child&#8217;s school if you wish to limit your student&#8217;s purchases.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What if I don\u2019t want my child to be able to purchase extras?<\/strong><br \/>\nYou can request that the money deposited in your student\u2019s account be available to purchase only school breakfasts or lunches. When meals only is specified, the student is unable to buy extras or a la carte items unless they pay cash for them. You can contact your child&#8217;s school cafeteria to have this restriction added to the student&#8217;s account.<\/p>\n<p>If you choose to send a check to the school, note \u201cmeals only\u201d in the memo section of the check. The child&#8217;s account will then be turned off for a la carte options.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s also possible to allow the occasional cookie or extra milk to be purchased\u2014daily or weekly spending limits on a la carte can be placed on an account. For example, you can specify the student is allowed to buy a cookie each day for .50, so either a .50 per day or $2.50 per week spending limit could be applied to the student&#8217;s account.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do I do if I have a question about Free\/Reduced meals?<\/strong><br \/>\nThe office staff at your student\u2019s school should be able to assist you, you can call the Nutrition Services Office at 436-1746 or check out the Free\/Reduced Program section on our website.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How do I make a credit card prepayment over the Internet?
