Krosoczka. The series, which now includes 10 novels, chronicles the adventures of Betty, the school lunch lady, who fights crime when she&#8217;s not serving Sloppy Joes.<\/p>\n<p>It is celebrated on the first Friday in May, to coincide with National School Nutrition Employee Appreciation Week. We here at LPS think our Lunch Heroes are pretty great, and enjoy the love that is shown to them on this day.
