Course planning for the 2026-27 School Year
Course planning for the 2026-27 school year will begin in January. Students who are currently in grades 9-11 will work with counselors during Advisement on January 13th-14th, their access closes on February 6th.
We encourage students talk with their current teachers for class recommendations. Please consult the LPS Course Guide and other information on the Counseling Center website to reference graduation requirements, college entrance requirements, and college credit options.
Choose wisely! Student registration determines which courses will be taught, when they will be taught and how many sections of each course will be needed. Staffing decisions are also based on student registration. Once the schedule is built there will be very limited opportunity for changes.
