The PSAT Exam is an optional practice test for the SAT and is given each year in October. For Juniors: The PSAT is also the qualifying exam for the National Merit Scholarship Competition. For Sophomores: The PSAT is recommended for highly motivated and academically driven 10th grade students as a practice exam for those planning to take the PSAT their junior year.
- The LPS 2025 PSAT will be offered on Oct. 11 @ Clifton Learning Center and Oct. 13 @ Lincoln North Star High School, and registration will begin by grade level on the following dates:
- September 3: Registration Begins for Juniors Only
- September 10 : Registration Begins for Sophomores
- September 17: Registration Closes for both grades
- Registration is first come, first served and prioritized by grade level and seating availability.
- Exam Cost: $45 or $30 for students who qualify for free/reduced meals.
