Incoming 9th grade students for the 2022-23 school year who are currently living in the Northwest attendance area will automatically be enrolled at Northwest High School. Those who wish to attend a different high school must submit the High School Choice Form prior to January 31, 2022 (click for link). Students who will be in grades 10-12 during the 2022-23 school year will remain enrolled at their current high school unless they fill out the High School Choice Form prior to January 31, 2022 (click for link). Current high school student athletes must also consider the following:
- To meet the NSAA activity and athletics eligibility requirements for the 2022-23 school year, students currently enrolled in high school during the 2021-22 school year will need to contact the LNW athletic department (email rpsencik@lps.org) once they are accepted at Northwest and indicate their transfer prior to May 1, 2022.
- Any student who has already used their May 1 NSAA transfer option will have to meet other transfer eligibility requirements or be ineligible for varsity competition for the first 90 school days during the 2022-23 school year. Contact your current school’s athletic director with any questions.
- Students in grades 10-12 who miss the May 1 deadline will be ineligible for varsity competition for the first 90 school days during the 2022-23 school year.
