LHS Track Student Code of Conduct

Failure Policy 1 F — showing  progress, allowed to compete

2 or more F’s academic help after school attend every  practice NO MEETS

3 or more F’s without improvement will be removed from the team to focus on academics

Truancy Policy Students need to be in class. If students are marked truant, they have 48 hours to clear the truancy. If truant during the school day, athletes may not compete on that day and may be held from practice. Multiple trending truancies will result in further disciplinary action up to suspension or removal from the team.
Harassment/ Bullying Lincoln High School has a policy concerning inappropriate behaviors that will not be tolerated in school or athletic settings.  Please refer to Lincoln High Student/Activities code of conduct, which can be found in the LHS Parent/Student Hand Book. Alcohol, Tobacco, and Drug Violations We will follow the Lincoln Public Schools Extracurricular Activities Code of Conduct policy 6740.2  

FIRST OFFENSE

SELF – REPORT: Ineligible for 14 calendar days of interscholastic competition with a minimum of next two competitions.  During the suspension, athlete must schedule a meeting with the School’s Community Intervention Program (SCIP) and complete an assigned drug education course.

NON – REPORT: Ineligible for 21 calendar days of interscholastic competition with a minimum of the next three competitions.  During the suspension, athlete must schedule a meeting with the School’s Community Intervention Program (SCIP) and complete an assigned durg education course.

SECOND VIOLATION

SELF – REPORT:  The athlete will be ineligible for 28 calendar days of interscholastic competition, with a minimum of the next four competitions.  

NON – REPORT:  The athlete will be ineligible for 42 calendar days of interscholastic competition, with a minimum of the next six competitions.

NEXT OFFENSE

The athlete will be ineligible to participate in athletics for one calendar year.  If an additional violation occurs within the suspension year, suspension dates will be adjusted based on the most current violation showing one calendar year from the last violation.
