Lincoln High School has one jazz ensemble called LHS Big Band.\u00a0<\/p>

LHS Big Band\u00a0<\/b>is composed of students who have\u00a0successfully\u00a0auditioned as well as need based instrumentation. Students MUST audition each year in order to remain in the ensemble. Prior enrollment does\u00a0not guarantee that you will be selected again. Instruments for this ensemble include saxophone, trumpet, trombone, piano, drums, guitar, and upright\/electric bass. This group meets during the school year during 1st period and will perform at least four concerts as well as one festival. Students in this ensemble are highly encouraged to participate in private lessons throughout the year.<\/p>

LHS Jazz Combo<\/b>\u00a0is made up of students in the LHS Big Band who wish to focus on improvisation\u00a0and combo styled performance opportunities.<\/p>
