LPS K-5 Computer Science Standards<\/b><\/p>\n

Computer Science:<\/b> Students will learn about computers and algorithmic processes, including their principles, their hardware and software designs, their applications, and their impact on society.<\/span><\/p>\n

Computational Thinking: The student will be able to\u2026<\/b><\/p>\n

  1. Use resources (e.g., coding puzzles, robotics, logical thinking programs, unplugged activities) to solve age-appropriate problems.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Understand and use steps in algorithmic problem-solving.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Creative Computing: The student will be able to\u2026<\/b><\/p>\n

    1. Use various tools to create, modify, and\/or share computing and media arts products.<\/span><\/li>\n
