{"id":7178,"date":"2016-12-19T08:54:25","date_gmt":"2016-12-19T14:54:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wp.lps.org\/ehscounseling\/?page_id=7178"},"modified":"2025-11-20T13:39:58","modified_gmt":"2025-11-20T19:39:58","slug":"registration-resources","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/home.lps.org\/ehscounseling\/registration-resources\/","title":{"rendered":"Course Planning &#038; Resources"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><br>Course planning for the 2026-27 School Year<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Course planning for the 2026-27 school year will begin in November. &nbsp;Students who are currently in grades 9-11 will work with counselors during the following classes and dates:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Current Juniors:\u00a0 US History classes | January 12th-16th<br>Current Sophomores:\u00a0 English classes | December 2nd-8th<br>Current Freshmen:\u00a0 English classes | November 17th &amp; 21st<br>Current 8th Grade | Starting January 26, 2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We encourage students talk with their current teachers for class recommendations. &nbsp;Please consult the LPS Course Guide and other information on the Counseling Center website to reference graduation requirements, college entrance requirements, and college credit options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Choose wisely! &nbsp;Student registration determines which courses will be taught, when they will be taught and how many sections of each course will be needed.
