We leave Base Camp early and travel to the Illeret. All research projects begin either that same day or early next day.
We arrived after some delays , set up tents in 90+ temps in direct sun, hydrated a bit, and ate lunch very late. We then had one of our planning meetings about teacher stuff, i.e. lesson plans and resting in the shade until supper.
