We begin at 6 am for breakfast then pack up and leave. South Horr is an oasis among the dry mountainous surroundings.
We made it to Koobi Fora research station about 545pm. Several stops along the way for road side restroom breaks in the wild of course and a couple breakdowns too. There is no signal here so these updates may only happen once per weeks now.
