Here are just a few:<\/p><ul><li>Extend the classroom\u2014Through video conference solutions, it is our hope that we will offer a few courses to students in other districts across the state. It also means that if a course doesn\u2019t have quite enough enrollment at one high school in our district, students from another high school can join the class remotely, along with the possibility of several students from other districts. Distance courses will keep the course selection at LPS varied and solid.<\/li><li>Enrichment activities\u2014With video conferencing equipment, individual teachers or schools can bring experts into the classroom to enrich the learning experience for students. Virtual Field trips are available to zoos, museums, or other non-profits.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8963f2e elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"8963f2e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">How do we connect teachers and students with distance learning opportunities?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1b5adc5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1b5adc5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nvis.esucc.org\/\">NVIS (The Nebraska Virtual Instruction Source)<\/a> is a statewide clearinghouse for both distance learning course offerings and Nebraska-based virtual field trip experiences.
