You indicated you did not test positive for COVID-19. Please take one of the following appropriate next steps:
Staff no longer need to contact Risk Management if you have symptoms but test negative for COVID-19. If you have symptoms but have not tested yet, please get tested for COVID-19.
Staff should follow the standard protocols for reporting an absence due to illness and use the appropriate leave as outlined in the employee handbook.
If you are experiencing symptoms after being identified as a close contact with a positive COVID-19 case, you should self-isolate immediately, contact your healthcare provider or seek medical care, and get tested for COVID-19. A close contact is someone who was less than 6 feet away from an individual infected with COVID-19 for a cumulative of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period.

Please refer to HR Bulletin #15 for more information. Staff no longer need to fill out the web form or contact Risk Management if they were notified of being a close contact. Staff who are exposed to COVID-19 and identified as a close contact are expected to wear a face covering for 10 days after the close contact and should seek a test 5 days after the exposure. A close contact is someone who was less than 6 feet away from an individual infected with COVID-19 for a cumulative of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period.
